In March of
2002 John Anderson along with Jim and Kathy Coover put their
minds together and formed the company Isagenix. Their
mission was to create a product line of “No Compromise
Formulas” to fight out fight fat and leave you looking and
feeling healthier. John Anderson is not only a founder he
is the formulator of their weight loss products. Before
Isagenix, he had developed over 2300 weight loss products
for over 600 companies in 27 countries. The Isagenix
International Headquarters is located in Chandler, Arizona
but their products are marketed internationally.
A press
release came out in July of 2006 stating that Isagenix is
thriving with almost $10 million in sales in May of 2006.
According to Kathy Coover the associates are getting a good
chunk of this money. Isagenix now has 5 associates making
$25,000/week, 12 are getting close to joining the
millionaires, and over 70 associates are making 6 figure
incomes. To date, Isagenix has been recognized as one of
the fastest growing companies in the industry and featured
in magazines, books, and fitness videos around the world.
Isagenix
offers a line of products that all tie in to the same goal,
a healthy appearance. There are 3 main categories that their
products fall under; cleansers meant to naturally cleanse
your body providing proper nutrition for a healthy
foundation, nutritional supplements in the form of capsules,
shakes, etc, and skin care products designed to keep your
skin looking healthy and young. Before anything hits the
market it is tested and most likely endorsed by a doctor who
performed a trial. Isagenix states that all of their
products are natural leaving each one with very few possible
side effects.
If you would like to distribute for Isagenix it will cost
$49 for an “Isagenix Associate Support System” package.
They encourage you to also purchase a “value pak” that
contains several products for you to use which could be your
form of a live demonstration. Once you have signed up to be
an associate you must work your way up the ranks;
consultant, executive and then golden circle star ratings.
Isagenix claims that they have a guaranteed 50% payout, but
go on to explain that “if” they do not hold up to this it is
only because the money has been put into an escrow account
to ensure money for future payouts. The average pay to
associates is $122 a YEAR which was reported in 2005 (50% of
all their teams fall in this category). Once you finally
make it to consultant the average is $588 with 47% falling
in this category. According to these charts until you make
it to Leadership Status you will not be making enough to
live on. You must be a part of the 2 Star Golden Circle to
be making a decent yearly living of $35,515 (average for
2005). After viewing their whole compensation plan it
appears to be very unstable.
