Liberty
Management originally appeared in 1998, claiming to be the
first of its kind offering job protection to MLM members of
their partnered companies. They initially partnered with
Coral Connection, which is still a MLM company today. In
theory, this business idea seems genius. In reality, it is
highly unlikely that it could have ever had any real
foundation to stand on.
The process
that they would have to go through is the real kicker.
First of all, Liberty Management would have to market
themselves to MLM companies with a service that is only
valuable to them if the fail to stay on the market. If this
could be done discreetly some MLM companies may bite.
However, there is a major twist. Once Liberty Management
has partnered with a company the distributors that wanted to
be protected had to sign up through Liberty Management.
What did this mean? This meant that the MLM company
partnered with Liberty Management was “marked” as a risk to
anyone looking into their business opportunities. This is
the element of their business plan that did not go over well
in the marketing world.
In the MLM
industry it is all about selling. Whether you are selling
only a dream or a truly successful business opportunity, it
is important that you make it as convincing as possible. If
someone went to a company that stated “if we go down you are
protected”, they would more than likely seek out one that
has a little more confidence. This is why after only
partnering with Coral Connections, Liberty Management moved
on with a new business plan.
Currently,
Liberty Management offers a service that once again has been
considered unsuccessful. According to hundreds of ads all
over the internet, Liberty Management can “build your
downline” for you. Some ads claim that they can build it all
the way down without your assistance, and other state that
they can add 5 people to your downline in less than 2
months. It will cost you $20/month for their support and
services.
This is not
a new strategy. “Winners Edge” and “Winners Circle” have
also tried this and were both shut down quickly. Their
services were labelled as impossible. “Winners Edge” was
forcefully shut down by law officials, and “Winners Circle”
fizzled out shortly after. Sadly, chances are Liberty
Management will be joining them shortly.
While this
service seems to be implausible, Liberty Management insists
that they are legitimate and capable of producing results.
There have been a lot of people talking about this
“opportunity” though most are sceptical. While they
continue to brag all over the internet, any evidence to
support these statements has yet to surface. The bottom line
is Liberty Management has been selling their ideas for over
5 years now, and they are still unable to actually
accomplish any of them.
