In 1975, a Japanese man by the name of Isamu Masuda founded a MLM
company called Nikken. It took several countries including
America by storm in the early 90’s. Offering a therapeutic
magnet designed to ease sore muscles and take the edge off
of body pain which has helped them rake in over $1.5 billion
dollars in sales. They have steady sales in over 30
countries and have turned a profit the last 25 years.
While this magnet is being questioned by scientific researchers, Nikken
still maintains their claim that their product is a break
through in natural pain relief. According to their
scientists who studied it; the magnet stores a form of
energy that when placed in contact with an achy muscle is
supposed to release itself which will “recharge” the muscle.
A little far-fetched maybe, but according to Nikken’s
supporters it works. Whether this statement is accurate or
not doesn’t seem to impact their business since they are
still growing. Now they have developed a number of other
health related products that are intended to “address major
concerns of modern living: stress, discomfort, well-being
and health”.
As far as Nikken being the right business to join, it is not for the
penniless entrepreneurs. It is said to be one of the more
expensive of the MLM businesses but that is not always a bad
thing. Here in America there is a little saying that goes,
“You get what you pay for” which usually proves itself to be
true. To get the full package you will have to spend close
to $50 for the starter kit and in order to have any success
with it buy their Demo Pak and Career Pak. While this is
quite an investment, many people are claiming it to be
beneficial. The cost hasn’t seemed to discourage new
members, to date they have reported to have more than 30,000
American distributors.
Overall, Nikken has never done anything that rings a bell of
suspicion and has at least proven to be a credible company.
Based on all the facts, it would be one of the better MLM
companies to at least look into. As with most of these
markets it will take a motivated person to get anyone to pay
$25 for a magnet, but apparently it does have potential.
