Established in
1989, Omnitrition International, Inc. has been supplying the
world with top notch nutritional supplements with a special
emphasis on products to relieve stress. Roger and Barbara
Daley, a married couple in Carrolton, Texas, have dedicated
over 15 years to ensuring a successful future for them and
their distributors. While Omnitrition International is
technically run to produce profit, it stands behind its
products and claim to be genuinely concerned about the
health of every individual in the world.
The products
offered by Omnitrition International include; weight loss
supplements, general vitamin supplements, muscle pain relief
supplements, and energy and lifestyle supplements. Almost
every product is available in either pill form or powder
form, your choice. They have chosen to do this based on the
research that your body absorbs about 80% of liquids and
only 10-20% of pill form supplements. Recently Omnitrition
International has added another category to their list. You
can now purchase “Omni Designer Bling” which includes
jewellery, hair accessories, gifts, and tons more.
If you would
like to join Omnitrition International in their business
venture you are required to purchase a distributors kit.
They do not publish the price of this kit online although I
am pretty sure it is not cheap. While it is meant to help
you promote your business, they also throw in some of their
products that you will receive to try out for yourself.
This will probably drive the price up significantly. Allow
with the trials you will receive your business handbook,
application, product brochures and quite a few other
business essentials.
Omnitrition
International has been in trouble for bad business
practices. On September 5th, 1995 a group of
ex-distributors for Omnitrition International, Inc. came
together and filled a lawsuit stating that Omnitrition
International was operating a pyramid scheme. The
ex-distributors claimed that Omnitrition International had
manipulated the system in order to disguise this scheme by
setting “qualifications and eligibility criteria”
limitations on collecting their commissions. While it was
rumoured that some had lost thousands of dollars, according
to the court transcripts, no such testimony was ever entered
into court. On March 4th, 1996 the judge finally
announced his ruling that Omnitrition International, Inc.
had not conducted a pyramid scheme so the claims were
dismissed.
Even though
Omnitrition International, Inc. was found no guilty in this
court hearing, they have been on the chopping block a few
times since. Nothing substantial has ever come of any
lawsuit attempts other than some being settled before
reaching the judge. Regarding these incidents, there has
been no record of statements released by either party. None
the less, it would probably be in everyone’s best interest
to just steer clear of Omnitrition International, Inc. and
their questionable business plan.
