Doug Wilder has managed to carve out quite
a niche for himself in the world of business coaching since
he began in 1993. He stands out among his competitors
because his approach is a very personal one that considered
the customer carefully, even thoughtfully. Wilder is great
listener and uses this gift to help his clients find focus,
develop strategies, and about the importance of
commitments--to others and themselves. Wilder achieves
amazing, almost “magical” results, finding just the right
strategy or answer for his customer. Wilder’s programs are
very adaptable to individual needs and personalities.
With no formal coaching training, Doug
Wilder has found an alternative road to finding success in
the industry. He managed to gather a wealth of varied
experience while working in a number of fields including
sales, insurance, as well as investment and make the most of
the time by asking thousands of successful people what made
the difference for them and led them to ultimate success.
Add to this, the hours and hours he spent studying books and
courses on sales, business improvement, and
self-improvement, and you get a clearer picture.
Wilder made optimal use of his various
sources and experiences, turning the concepts into lessons
that have been easily adopted by clients and teaching them
how to increase sales, reduce their stress, handle their
employees, or handle their spouse.
Wilder has been facilitator for the
Stephen Covey “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” program
for the Chamber of Commerce and for the “FastTrac II”
Business Plan Course for the University of Florida.
At the end of 2002, Doug Wilder of Wilder Business Success,
Inc. was nominated by the Downtown Council of the
Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce as their nominee for the
Small Business Leader of the Year.
