James Martell...

James Martell is a teacher and an expert in affiliate marketing. He is Canadian, a self-taught man, who builds websites that rank high in the search engines. He has written a home study program, James Martell’s Affiliate Marketers’ Handbook. The program is downloadable and explains how to set up and manage affiliate marketing. Since James Martell has used the same techniques that are in the program to market it and create his own business, the program would seem to have proved itself quite successfully. He has assisted more than 400 sellers.

James Martell’s Affiliate Marketer’s Handbook is considered by many to be the best of the manuals on affiliate marketing because it is so comprehensive. It is systematic and gives a very detailed explanation on how to create affiliate markets. If the steps in the book are followed, the result should be a very successful affiliate business. But, James Martell stops short of guaranteeing instant success. He knows that any seller must put in a lot of hard work to get good profits in the long run. He states that any marketer must view the process as long-term. The handbook is not cheap and there are many that are less expensive. However, if you compare the contents, you will find that James Martell’s handbook is much more complete and has timely updates. It is a worthwhile investment.

Interestingly, James Martell’s approach to affiliate marketing does not require contact with customers, full-time involvement, or handling any inventory. The seller's main job is to keep adding content to the websites once they are up and operating. The seller must maintain valid links to other sites. The affiliate merchants to whom your sites link must handle the sales, returns, and inventory. His sellers only collect commissions and count the profits. Basically, the websites you create are designed to receive traffic (i.e.; customers) through search engines (not e-mails and newsletters) and link them to the direct sellers of products they want or need. You receive commissions for directing that traffic to the other sites. The more web pages you create, the more visitors will come to your site and be linked to other sites to purchase products. Now, that’s interesting!

Check out James Martell; it’s a worthwhile expenditure of time.
