Karen Anderson is currently the media director for Modem Media, with almost
twenty years of advertising experience. She is in charge of
numerous client initiatives, manages strategy development
and implementation, and heads multi-channel efforts that
integrate non-interactive advertising and direct marketing,
as well as online-only programs and promotions. Anderson’s
current and previous clients include Heineken USA,
Delta Air Lines, Philips, CSFBdirect, 3Com, Compaq
and AT&T.
Prior to joining Modem Media in
1995, Karen Anderson spent ten years working in more
traditional media formats. This included positions at
Grey, Ally & Gargano, as well as North Castle
Partners. Anderson received a B.S. in Business
Management & Marketing from Cornell University.
When Anderson joined the company she started out as the
Associate Planning Director and was also in charge of the
Modem Media’s buying department.
In addition, Anderson is deeply involved in and manages
several of Modem Media’s company initiatives. Her
duties also include the maintenance of working relationships
with ad serving, tracking and measurement partners across
the company's worldwide network. Anderson is also
responsible for spearheading the development of workflow
systems for use in the company’s media department.
