For nearly thirty years, Mike Roberts has
been a professional negotiator, provided negotiator
training, while working with various agencies and businesses
throughout the world. In the 1970s, Roberts gathered
extensive experience in both employee relations and
industrial troubleshooting while in the United Kingdom.
Since that time, he has worked with nearly 6,000 partners,
directors, CEOs and senior executives of diverse companies
and other organizations. His professional experiences have
been varied as he has managed to work in many parts of the
world including North America, the United Kingdom, Europe,
Asia and the Middle East.
While working for these various
companies, Roberts saw the necessity of giving more
attention in order to obtain lucrative business deals with
other organizations. This is where his negotiation prowess
was brought to light and fulfilled by determining what
particular aspect of the deal offer the most benefits for
those he is working for.
It was during this period, working for
a large multi-faceted company, that Roberts gained most of
his occupational experience and sharpened his negotiating
skills.
Roberts went on to found a trading
organization called Scott, Roberts & Associates in
the early 1980s. He has been awarded the Instructor
Excellence Award from KPMG for implementing strong
negotiating training methods among European divisions. .
In recent years, more and more
