Dr. Robert Cialdini has earned an
international reputation as an expert in the fields of
persuasion, compliance, and negotiation. He is has formal
training in the psychology of influence and more than thirty
years of research into the subject.
Cialdini is also the author of a widely
successful book entitled Influence: Science and Practice,
a book with worldwide sales figures over a million copies.
Influence has been published in twenty languages and
continually ranks very high—in the top one half of one
percent of books sold on Amazon.com.
Robert Cialdini has a distinguished
scholarly background, having received a Ph.D from the
University of North Carolina and post doctoral training from
Columbia University. Furthermore, Dr. Cialdini held
Visiting Scholar Appointments at Ohio State University, the
University of California, the Annenberg School of
Communications, and the Graduate School of Business of
Stanford University. At present, he is Regent's Professor of
Psychology at Arizona State University.
